Bosh set for September Return

Miami Heat doctors have indicated that Miami Heat F Chris Bosh is expected to resume basketball activities in September.
“I’m just happy to be back,” Bosh said. “I’m just happy to be here and see the fellas. I haven’t met Goran [Dragic] yet. We just talked through texts. I haven’t seen [Michael Beasley]. There are so many new additions to the team, and I’m just happy to be here. After not being able to do certain things, you just find small things to be happy about, and I’m just glad to be back where I belong.”

“I’ve always respected the game and I’ve always loved the game and I’ve never been able to not play,” Bosh said. “This is the first time in my life. The game has given everything to me, but I’m just making sure I’m staying patient. I’m making sure I’m not getting too ahead of myself and not getting back too soon.
“I’ve just come to appreciate everything about basketball — just being in the grind of doing this special job that we have, and it’s something I love and will love forever.”
