Adam Silver addresses "I Can't Breathe" shirts

Chicago Bulls G Derrick Rose brought light league wise to a very powerful social issue when he donned an "I Can't Breathe" shirt while warming up over the weekend.  The like of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Garnett have joined the movement started by Rose and when asked recently about the silent stance, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver responded with the following:

"I respect Derrick Rose and all of our players for voicing their personal views on important issues but my preference would be for players to abide by our on-court attire rules."
