The second injury hardship relief exception expired Wednesday for the Indiana Pacers which in turn was the last night for Pacers' G A.J. Price. When a team has injury woes such as the Pacers had to start the season the NBA can grant the exception which is 10 days in length. Price, 28, averaged 10.4 points and 2.4 assists and hopes to catch on with another team before season's end.
"It was definitely fun, first and foremost," Price said. "I was grateful for the opportunity, everything that I had hoped for happened. I came here and got an opportunity to play. That was all I could ask for."
"I'm optimistic it'll work out, if not here then somewhere else," continued Price, who said he will also contemplate playing in an international league. "Everything's an option at this point. You can't rule anything out at this point. If I'm not able to get a job here in the NBA, then overseas is definitely an option."
