Klay Thompson update

Early reports are indicating that progress has been made in the contract talks between the Golden State Warriors and G/F Klay Thompson.  Thompson has been seeking a five year max deal from the franchise but the two sides remained nearly $3 million apart.  The deadline to get a deal done is Friday and if a deal is not reached Thompson will become a restricted free agent at seasons' end.  With that being said it appears that a deal will be consummated.
