Charlotte Hornets F Jeffery Taylor pleaded guilty Wednesday to misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor malicious destruction of property. The misdemeanors carry up to 93 days in jail, but the Ingham County prosecutor said it would not object to Judge Andrea Larkin ordering Taylor placed in a probation diversion program. The domestic assault charge could be stricken from Taylor's record if he completes his probation.
The Hornets suspended Taylor indefinitely after his arrest on September 25th.
Update: Taylor has been sentenced to 18 months of probation and has to undergo a 26 week batterers' intervention program. Taylor will also be subject to alcohol monitoring.
