Beasley talks leaving NBA for China

Veteran NBA F Michael Beasley left the Memphis Grizzlies in order to sign in the Chinese Basketball Association and recently Beasley spoke of continuing his basketball career overseas.
“Being in China is a good opportunity for me. I want to re-love basketball. Over the past few years I went to the wrong direction. But now I am focused on regaining the confidence. In Shanghai I am opening a new chapter in my life” said Beasley. “I don’t think that marijuana ruined my career but some people think it did but they don’t know when it was last time I’ve smoked marijuana. It was six years ago” added Beasley. “Over the last few seasons I never had the chance to show my skills” ended Beasley who praised both DeAndre Jordan (“his mother is like my mother”) and Goran Dragic (“He is a nice person”).
