Rivers to receive extension

Now that the Donald Sterling saga is seemingly over, new owner of the Los Angeles Clippers Steve Ballner will now try to secure a long term deal for head coach and team President Doc Rivers. Currently Rivers has two years left and his original 3 year deal but by locking in Rivers long term, the franchise will have a sense of stability going forward.
