Clippers/Spurs covet Allen?......Updated

The Los Angeles Clippers attempted to sign G Ray Allen a few years ago before he decided to sign with the Miami Heat.  Reports indicate that Clippers President and Head Coach Doc Rivers would like a reunion with Allen after the run the two enjoyed together with the Boston Celtics in years past.  Last season for the Heat Allen averaged 9.6 points per game.

Update:  The San Antonio Spurs are said to be making a last second push to lure Allen.
