While currently in the twilight of his NBA career Miami Heat F/C Chris Anderson, 36, realizes that he needed stability hence the 2 year deal that he signed with the Heat last month. After being signed by the franchise 2 season ago and two consecutive trips to the NBA Finals, Anderson recently indicated that he feels as if Miami is home.
"It was definitely the loyalty from the fans and from the team," Anderson said. "That had a big part of it. And it's matter of me ending my career in a place that I'd be happy at and am familiar with."
"Of course it's going to be a challenge," he said of moving forward without James. "But the ultimate goal is to win a championship and we're still going to be contenders and we've got a pretty good team. We're going to miss LeBron. We're going to miss him......He's a great guy, but we've got a bunch of great guys on the team, as well....He's going to be highly missed. We really loved him as a teammate. He's a good person. He got a big heart. But we've still got to play ball, regardless."
