On not getting past the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals:
"Last year was definitely a year we thought maybe we definitely thought we had an opportunity to get Miami, and one of the reasons was they were in the Finals for three years in a row. And I know how that is. Mentally and physically, you're beat up.
"The only difference in that series was, they had LeBron (James) and we didn't."
On the Pacers' point guard situation:
"We're always looking. Great point guards are hard to get. We're happy with George Hill. C.J. (Watson) has done a great job for us. But you're right, we'd like to have a guy who can break down the defenses because both them guys can play off the ball. ... If nothing happens, we'll just go with what we have."
On players the team will sign or retain in the coming days:
"(Damjan) Rudez is the best shooter in Europe. We've got to figure how to get him in the mix. C.J. is a shooter. We need scoring."
Cellini also suggested that Bird bet some of the summer league players in a shooting contest:
"These are rookies. They don't have any money."
