Cousins being black balled?

Team USA has suffered the past few months due to the likes of LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love all electing not to participate on this summer's team that is currently preparing for the FIBA World Cup of Basketball.  For years Sacramento Kings' big DeMarcus Cousins has volunteered and fought for a chance to represent his county on Team USA and this year was rewarded as a member of the US Select Team.  It's no secret that Jerry Colangelo hasn't been a fan of Cousins' on court demeanor and many have highlighted that as a reason Cousins' has yet to reach his goal.  Coming off of a career season  ( 22.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game)  and being seemingly close to finally achieving his goal, reports now indicate that Mason Plumlee ( 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game) will be chosen over Cousins.
