Knicks to trade Shumpert?

During mid-season the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder were close to making a trade that would have sent Knicks F Iman Shumpert to the Thunder in exchange for a 1st round pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Knicks President Phil Jackson reportedly loves Shumpert's defensive tenacity but doesn't love Shumpert's offensive game. The Knicks passed on the initial deal could very well revisit it with the Thunder still looking to move picks.
“We have to figure out a way to find value in the draft,’’ Oklahoma City general manager Sam Presti said. “That could be moving off the picks entirely, combining them to move around, could be standing and selecting. I will say this draft is going to be pretty good. At the same time, when you draft a player, you also want to make sure there’s a relative pathway for them to have success and play.’’
