Kevin Love has harsh words for teammates

There are times when as the franchise player one has to call out others. Minnesota Timberwolves F/C Kevin Love had to do just that last evening. Not happy with the body language during timeouts in the 4th quarter of a close game against the Suns, Love needed to speak out and did so after the Timberwolves were defeated.
‘‘We can’t have two guys sitting at the end of the bench that play good minutes just sitting there and not getting up during timeouts,’’ Love said, referring to the poor body language exhibited by veterans J.J. Barea and Dante Cunningham in the fourth quarter. ‘‘We all need to be in this together. That kind of (ticks) me off. We’re supposed to be a team.’
‘‘It’s two guys that we expect more from them,’’ Love said. ‘‘I think they expect more from themselves. I'm not trying to single anybody out and I don’t want to make it bigger than it is, but it’s just a team that we needed to beat tonight and we needed everybody in there, even guys that didn’t play any minutes. We need to have a team and a bench that’s really in it together.’’

Rubio can't shoot, added decent pieces and they still not a playoff team.
ReplyDeleteK. Love l.a. is calling u home!
Wolves might as well go ahead and trade him for pau gasol now. Cause hes going to b n purple & gold 1 way or the other
If he goes to them girl ass colors he will never get a ring. Miami,Clips, Nets, or OKC would be better for him.
ReplyDeletePreach u act as if love went there now he'd be surrounded by better talent- no- and when kobe gone -poll soon-theyll be rebuilding around love , why not stay in MN with one of the best centers in the game in pek, dope shooter in kmart, great distributer in rr- hopefully he takes a shooting clinic- and build a better bench. U jus want him in late so they can build around him next.
