They've been denials since the beginning of the NBA but the latest report indicates that the Chicago Bulls are indeed looking to trade F Luol Deng. Deng is slated to become a free agent at seasons' end and the Bulls are not looking to pay Deng the amount of money that he may be able to gain while on the market. With that being said, the Bulls are in no rush to move Deng and may wait until the trade deadline (February 20th) to make a deal.
Forward Carlos Boozer will earn $16.8 million next NBA season but the Bulls are planning on using the amnesty clause to cut Boozer lose. Despite still having to pay Boozer, the $16.8 million will not count against the Bulls salary cap if the move is indeed made.
