The Chicago Bulls have and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to exchange stars. The Cavaliers will receive F Luol Deng, who they've coveted for a while and the Bulls will received C Andrew Bynum and 3 future draft picks. The move will give the Bulls cap flexibility going forward and as mentioned Monday on The Hardwood Nation, the long term plans for the Bulls includes using the amnesty clause on Carlos Boozer this coming off season. Deng had rejected a 3 year, $3o million extension before the trade was agreed upon.
"We have great respect for Luol Deng, as a player and a person. He has been an incredible contributor to our team on the court, and he has also done great things in the community," said Chicago Bulls General Manager Gar Forman. "On behalf of the entire Bulls organization, I want to thank Luol for his years in Chicago."

Cavaliers gonna fuck shit up in the east.
ReplyDeleteR the bulls gonna waive him? Damn sure ain't gonna get shit out of them picks
ReplyDelete3 picks. 1in first round. Hate to say it but a good move. Deng was leaving so had to get something for him and they are making $ for next seasons free agents too. Between deng and boozers salary coming off the books they have a lot of spending money now along with a great season for the draft. Probably the best draft class in quite a while. This year is over but next year is looking real good now for bulls fans.
ReplyDelete1 pick is Portland's pick...currently 1 n the west. The other 2 r protected...just a money saving move for the bulls, nothing more
DeleteDeng my man's but it had to happen . Good business move
