Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson yesterday chimed in on the news of Brooklyn Nets assistant Lawrence Frank being demoted by Jason Kidd.
“When I look at that situation, I don’t know what happened, but I do see the reports of a difference in philosophies,” Jackson said. “If that is true, that’s trash to me because there is one philosophy and that is the head coach. I think we’re giving too much to an assistant or a staff. If you win, it’s (head coach) Jason Kidd. If you lose it’s Jason Kidd. When you talk about a difference in philosophy, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.”
