Granger talks rhythm

With the Indiana Pacers currently sitting atop of the NBA's Eastern Conference with a 19-3 record many feels as if former franchise Danny Granger is no longer needed. Granger has missed all 22 games this season but is close to returning. Despite insiders feeling as if Granger would return during Friday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats, Granger himself still feel out of rhythm.
“I don’t like where I’m at with my timing and my rhythm and obviously my conditioning,” Granger said. “…I don’t feel like I’m ready yet. I dribbled the ball off my foot a couple times and just things where you haven’t [been] playing. Lost the ball in transition on a pass. My rhythm isn’t there yet....By all means, I could physically play, easily. Like I said, it’s more of a rhythm thing. When you’re playing at those type of speeds, you have to do it for a while to get used to doing it again.”
Why would granger not be needed? You can always use more depth and if he ever returns to his old self paul and granger would be a deadly combo
ReplyDeleteLook at amare...his role on the knicks now could easily be replaced by someone getting payed 10times less.
DeleteAnd it could fuck up chemistry and rythem if you try to force him into already proven successful rotations.
He Certainly will b a upgrade over Orlando johnson
