Chicago Bulls G Derrick Rose will undergo surgery today to repair his torn right meniscus. The two ways of repairing the injury are removing the meniscus or a portion of it which will see Rose return in a matter of weeks but could shorten his playing career or have the meniscus re-attached which will see Rose miss 4-6 months thus ending his regular season. This is a very sensitive matter but The Hardwood Nation would like to know your thoughts, which option should Rose choose and why?
Just being honest, I look at wade and A.I. 2 guys who have similar playing styles and bodies started breaking down after about 10 years anyway and I never thought rose would b that productive after 30 anyway. Fuck it, take the quickest way back. I also feel like rose being timid last year played a part n this injury also
ReplyDeleteI say take the Long way cause trying to come back too soon is exactly what happen to Penny Hardaway, Allen Houston, Barron Davis, and Brandon Roy. They all wanted to prove they werent injury prone and kept coming back too soon and all end up done before the age of 30.
ReplyDeleteAJ u right dude^ and I see where u comming from preach.... but at this point this dude is going through hell right about now going out a season n half ago to come back this year and try to wnd this season wit a big bang n remind pplz he never left. And now he gets this to put him our for the season again
ReplyDeleteSo he should just chill out and and take the long way back

I think take the season ending surgery. He is young the team is not a championship team. Come back next year & leave it all on the floor. I also think the bulls need to start thinking rose is done & look for another big time player to carry the team. I'm just being honest.
ReplyDeleteU could be right. But then again don't count him out... the boy can ball he might come back less athletic. But he still will be some type of problem

If his mind wasn't correct last season I can't imagine it wud be after needing a second knee surgery. Take the long route. N why rush back anyway. Tho the bulls r always in the hunt I don't think their winning a ship this year. N maybe management will actually bring someone in to help this kid out next season
ReplyDeleteGotta think tho , Deng they 2nd best player and Chicago probably won't even bring him back after this year
Deleteits all due heavy calendar 82 games time diffrence planes n practices.
