The Boston Celtics yesterday exercised their third year option for F Jared Sullinger. For the 2014-15 season, Sullinger will be paid $1.4 million.
“No, I didn’t expect that,” Sullinger said. “I was kind of in shock. It made my day. It made the suspension that much sweeter.....Honestly it makes me feel comfortable knowing that even though (there were) a lot of ups and downs this summer, that they’re still willing to work with me. It shows a lot of confidence upstairs (in the basketball administration offices), which also fuels confidence in me.”

Would have been stupid for us not to. Kid has potential and with the right training could blossom into a good player in the post.
