Sixers' Turner talks future

Philadelphia 76ers G/F Evan Turner did not receive an extension on his rookie contract and is currently in the final year of that deal which is valued at $6.7 million. The Sixers can still offer Turner a fifth year qualifying offer valued at $8.7 million and they have until June 30th to do so or Evans will become an unrestricted free agent. If the offer is extended, Turner will then become a restricted free agent. Recently Turner indicated that his representatives and the Sixers haven't discussed either sides plans.
"[First-year 76ers general manager Sam] Hinkie is not my GM. He doesn't owe me anything," Turner said. "… We're going in different directions and everything like that."
"We haven't spoken on it," Turner said. "There's nothing really to speak on. Whatever happens, happens."
