Both the Chicago Bulls and the Indiana Pacers understand that they will eventually have to go through the Miami Heat if they are to become NBA Champions but they also recognize they that they may have to go through each other as well. It's never too early to have a statement game in the NBA and last evening was no different as the Indiana Pacers routed the Chicago Bulls. During the preseason, Bulls G Derrick Rose indicated that he didn't see the Pacers as rivals and last evening after defeating the Bulls, Pacers F Paul George fired back.
“We want to step away from that shadow as the ‘little brothers’ of this division,” George said. “Their (Bulls) success is the Michael Jordan era. This is a new age, this is a new team. It’s ours till they take it.”
