NBA Legend Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon was hired by the Houston Rockets to coach and mentor Dwight Howard. The two worked together over the off-season but Olajuwon returned to Jordan in early October but has been watching Howard on television. Olajuwon recently indicated that Howard has returned to his old playing habits.
“The truth is that I can’t wait to get back to Houston to do more work with Dwight,” said Olajuwon. “I wish he was doing a better job....I thought we were doing a good job with this when we were working together over the summer and at the start of training camp. But what I see now is that when Dwight gets in competition, he has a tendency to go back to all of his old habits. He’s just doing all of the things that he did before. He needs a reminder.”
Great defensive player and rebounder, that's it. Wasnt worth lakers giving all that money when we got so many other holes to fill.
ReplyDeleteThe nigga snoop said it best....Dwight went from riding shotgun with 1 of the greatest players to ever do it ...to riding n the backseat n Houston with harden driving and Parsons n the passenger seat of that muthafucka. Hell the way Lin playing right now d12 might not even b the 3rd best player on that team
You're right bro I'm a true laker fan. And it was a waste. Dude will only be a good rebounder and shot blocker that's it. Kareem summed it up already. Dude can't post up doesn't demand the rock doesn't run to the middle of the floor after boards to get position should I keep going...... I think Asik would have better numbers if they played him. I checked the stats from last night he's not even on their cmon man.......!!!! I think he's the 4th best player preach.
DeleteA decently slow start to the season and all yall trippin already. Dont get me wrong, dwight is kind of a bitch.. def ain't no superman.. def was trippin tryna claim he was over big diesel.. but 4th best on Houston? Pshhhh.. yall forget too easily
ReplyDeleteHe's still a tier 1 defender, averages a little over 17 points in the early season, and really can't be stopped in the paint with that lil hook he does.. ultimately we'll just have to see where he takes em
