Celtics' Wallace talks bench role

It's no secret that veteran F Gerald Wallace hasn't been happy with the direction of the Boston Celtics. During the team's 0-4 start, Wallace has voiced his displeasure multiple times. Reports have indicated that the Celtics have even tried to trade the disgruntled veteran. Wednesday before the Celtics faced off against the Utah Jazz, Wallace was benched in favor of Jordan Crawford and he indicated that he wasn't used to this new "role".
"It’s tough for me to adjust to everything. I’m trying to just figure out my role and do the best that I can in that role," he said. "Once I figure that out, then hopefully I’ll be more comfortable in the situation."
"I don’t know. This is the first time for me. I never came off the bench, other than about three years in Sacramento, where they were garbage minutes," he said. "I’ve always been a starter. I worked my tail off in the league to become a starter. It’s something that’s new to me. I approach the role the same way I did as a starter, and see what I can do from there."
