Thunders' Perkins accused of punching woman

Oklahoma City Thunder C Kendrick Perkins was charged (misdemeanor assault) and released for allegedly punching a woman and her brother outside of a nightclub. The incident occured in July and early Thursday morning, Perkins posted a bond of $1000.
Statement from Thunder GM Sam Presti:
"We were made aware of the allegations and take this matter seriously. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time."
