Glen Davis is not rushing his return

During the off-season Orlando Magic F Glen Davis underwent a second surgery to insert a larger screw in his ailing left foot. As the Magic began training camp over the weekend, Davis was still not ready to participate in basketball activities.
"Rushing is not in my plans.....Especially with the Magic, they want me to take my time. The trainers and everything want to make sure that I'm healthy so this won't be a recurring problem. I'm all for that. Yeah, it sucks not to be here in training camp. This is where you establish all those relationships, and you kind of set the tone for the year with the guys. But I'm not worried about that. I realize that it's bigger than me; there are other things that I have to accomplish right now."
