Gasol will not take pay-cut to remain a Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers F/C Pau Gasol recently indicated that he's not willing to take a pay cut to remain with the franchise once he becomes a free agent at seasons' end.
“Probably not,” he said. “You have to explore your options, but I would like to continue to play for the Lakers and maybe finish my career here. But you have to see the cards on the table.”

Looking good this preseason after playing no bball all summer. definitely will b a all-star this year and will probably take his spot back as being 1 of the top 2 or 3 big men n the league.
ReplyDeleteAs far as his money I'm sure him and Kobe both will take pay cuts if they get more qualified help around them. Add a melo with Kobe & pau or even just a Deng and good starting pg.....championship!!

Kobe has had many terrible finals performances. But he had this guy pau gasol to save his ass and still win games despite kobes shitty games. Kobe was obviously finals mvp but pau by far was the more consistent player. You dont even know anything about your favorite player. Why do u even try to talk basketball?
