Rivers talks confidence

New Orleans basketball is looking for a new beginning with the recent name change from the Hornets to the Pelicans and so is 2nd year Pelicans G Austin Rivers.  River endured an uneven rookie year while shooting 37% from the field and averaging 6.2 points and 2.1 assist per game.  
"I can't wait for the year to start because this is the best that I've ever felt and it's showing when I'm playing,'' said Rivers. "Mentally, I have 100 percent confidence right now, where last year I was trying to figure things out. So now when that ball tips off, I'm just thinking about winning, playing and having fun.''

"We're all getting into shape before training camp starts,'' Rivers said. "We're playing pick-up for hours, and I already play well with Tyreke. I see us playing well with each other. Being out here with all these guys just makes you better.''
