Pacers' George talks Danny Granger

A question that's been looming around the Indiana Pacers for most of the off-season has been how will Danny Granger and Paul George co-exist after George's ascension last season. The two are friends and even share the same agent and while George is close to accepting a 5 year extension valued at $90 million, Granger is entering the final year of his deal and is considered by some as possible trade piece for the Pacers. George recently spoke about how Granger has looked in recent workouts after Granger missed all but five games of the 2012-13 NBA season.
“I’ve seen a lot,” said George. “Danny is almost back. Only thing now is – I know he’s in shape, I know he’s conditioned – it’s whether he’ll fully trust putting all the moves and all the power and strength on his knees. From what I see, he looks like he’s 98 percent ready. He looks really good out there.”
Possible trade piece... For what?!?! They've got Hibbert, West, Scola.. George Hill is all they need as a Point. I'd work something out and keep him. Granger and George could be just as good a pair as Wade and Lebron. Throw Lance Stephenson back on the bench and run this shit Pacers. If they get rid of Granger they best be bringing back Reggie Miller.
ReplyDeleteI would bring Granger off bench regardless. That way west and hibbert won't lose no touches
