With the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend set to take place in New Orleans, the NBA, New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets are still trying to finalize a deal that would be both cities jointly host the NBA's annual showcase. Insiders are suggesting that Madison Square Garden will host the All-Star Game in 2015 while the Barclays Center will host All-Star Friday/Saturday night events with the events being reversed for the 2017 or 18 All-Star Weekend. The Brooklyn Nets however are holding up the deal currently based on not being sure that they would like to host the event.
