He's considered by many to be the true heart and soul of the Miami Heat, a throwback to the days of warriors such as Alonzo Mourning and P.J. Brown.  In one sense the news that F Udonis Haslem played the second half of the season including the NBA playoffs with a torn right meniscus was shocking but on the other hand it wasn't as Haslem is considered one of the toughest players in the league.  Haslem recently gave the media an update a mere 3 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair his right knee.

"I'm three weeks in now. I feel pretty good, actually," Haslem said. "It wasn't as bad as we thought it was. I was fortunate. It was mostly just a cleaning, a lot of scar tissue, a couple of loose pieces in there, cleaning out the MCL.....I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I actually feel real good. I'm looking to start running and getting back on the court in the next couple of weeks."
