Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau again defended the decision of G Derrick Rose to sit out the entire 2012-13 NBA season due to a torn ACL.  Fans began to turn on Rosé when the Bulls made the news public that Rose was medically cleared to play in February.

“In my eyes, Derrick has earned the benefit of the doubt.....Derrick has been a terrific player for us, a superstar who has been a great guy,’’ Thibodeau said. “He’s an honest guy. If he says he’s not ready to go, he’s not ready to go.

“You have to trust him, and I think we all have to trust him. Once he gets started, our fans will be behind him, they’ll be behind the team.’’
