Reports are indicating that the Los Angeles Lakers intend to use the amnesty clause to waive Metta World Peace. Some expect that the Lakers could save as much as $30 million by making the move.
appreciate game 7 of the 2010 finals but it dont make sense to keep him at that price. clippers probably pick him up on a vets min just because...

ReplyDeleteWhoever posted that Metta is horrible needs to watch (re-run now) of a Lakers game...
ReplyDeleteThey are trying to lock in Melo next year so maybe they preparing. I still don't agree with waiving him..
What the fuck are y'all smoking? He's at the tail end of his career. Had more open looks for three last year for a reason and still shot horribly. Let's see...keep a guy who lost a step and his shooting touch or save thirty million? Chill the fuck out. The lakers will always be contenders.
ReplyDeletegotta agree man. teams dont even guard him anymore. wish we could keep him as a backup but for 30 mill? nah
