Hawks GM Talks Josh Smith

For the first time in his career, NBA veteran F Josh Smith is an un-restricted free agent. Many thought that the Atlanta Hawks would have moved Smith last season but they didn't find a trade offer that they liked. According to reports, the Detroit Pistons were the first team to contact Smith as today is the first day that free agent negotiations can take place. Hawks GM Danny Ferry stated the following earlier this morning.
"Josh has been a valuable part of the Hawks for the past nine years," Ferry said. "We appreciate and respect what he has done. I also respect that he enters unrestricted free agency for the first time and wants to consider his options. We are in the same situation and we have to determine what is best for us moving forward as well.....We will certainly communicate with Josh and his agents."
Please somebody take this Reggie Miller wannabe, allergic to the paint cry baby. The Hawks need to lure talent that's proven bc they're only better than the Bobkittens at drafting talent.
ReplyDeletelakers. id rather have him than d12
ReplyDeleteDo you watch many Hawks games?
Deleteyeah . a veteran lockeroom will do him some good
DeleteI see the same type of attitude that Howard has with less talent. The lights in L.A. would prolly have the same affect on him.
