Former NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans has verbally agreed to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans. The deal is valued at $44 million over 4 years. With Evans being a restricted free agent, the Sacramento Kings will have from now up until July 13th to decide whether to match the offer. If the offer is matched, Evans will remain a member of the Kings.
the dude is not worth 11 million a year.
ReplyDeleteHe was his rookie year. Sadly the kings have ruined him. A scenery change would definately be good.
DeleteYeah well anyone in sactown isnt gonna play to their fullest...
ReplyDeleteI hope they can pick up Iggy next. I'll always be a Celtics fan first, but I'm originally from Louisiana. I would love to see them finally have a good bball team, and Iggy is one of my favorite players. Plus, he'd be back with Jrue, so there's already some chemistry established there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Pelicans are gonna be better than the Celts next season. It's staring to look like the Antoine Walker days in Bean Town. And if Rondo stays, that coach is gonna miss dealing with kids.
ReplyDeletewho thinks rondo is there game 1? i dont
DeleteI think I remember hearing something about him coming back in December. I might be wrong.
