Knicks to add scoring threat?

With the New York Knicks shifting Carmelo Anthony to power forward, the franchise is looking to add more of a scoring punch at the small forward position and are looking into their past to do so. The Knicks have a work schedule for Monday with former Knick Shawne Williams who played for the franchise during the 2010-11 NBA season. If the workout goes well, the Knicks could potentially sign Williams to the veteran's minimum of $1.4 million.
I don't really know much about him, is he any good?
ReplyDeleteHe can ball and hit the 3 but he is a pothead and trouble follows him everywhere he goes. I know Shawne very well he was once better than Grainger with the Pacers until Larry Bird got tired of all the off the court stuff.
ReplyDeletejust pay and play copeland. they reachin wit this dude
ReplyDeleteHe doesnt have enough size.
Deletefor a sf? copeland played center at times this year. either way dont c williams contributing shit. last i remember him with the nets bricking 3's and not playing any d
Deletei agree tho knicks should b tryin to get bigger and melo ass need to move back to sf and up his defense
DeleteI used to like shawne Williams but after he chose to sign with the nets over the knicks for the same money after we resurrected his career I lost all respect for him...let his ass stay in free agency
DeleteIf you gonna move melo to pf hey better find a good sf
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that they should be trying to trade amare for a more stable power forward and put melo back at the 3 because melo and stat dont.go together well to mich scoring with no defense
ReplyDeleteMy knicks are so stupid so manny good players n u bring this? I rather get gilbert agent zero.... And melo to the 4? So he can get fouled out against david west? Boozer... just switch him back to sf n try t on get something els shit... Or leave him at pf.. Nd get iggy
ReplyDeleteThey can go for jr smith or eman shumpert at the 3 and sign o.j mayo as a shooting guard
ReplyDeleteKnicks just spending all there money while avoiding the real problems. Amare who is a max bench needs to go. And a pass first pg needs to get signed to put jr and carmelo on a leash. Your not going to win a 7 game series while 4 guys watch either jr or carmelo iso every time they touch the ball, its shit basketball.
