Kings new arena deadline

Keeping the Kings in Sacramento was a huge victory for the city but there is one remaining situation where the Kings could still leave town.  In the event that the new owners of the Kings failed to reach the 2017 deadline of an opened new arena, the NBA would then purchase the Kings and re-sale the franchise to another group of owners outside of the city.  Such a scenario would be considered a "doomsday" scenario and all parties involved fully expect for the arena to be open by the 2017 deadline.
