Gregg Popovich says team is "hurting"

Upon returning to San Antonio, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich spoke about the way his team feels after losing to the Miami Heat in 7 games in the 2013 NBA Finals.
"I don't really want to do a soliloquy, but the elephant in the room is that we're all hurting because we had an opportunity to win a championship right in the palm of our hands and it didn't happen," Popovich said. "So, that hurts, and it will dissipate over time, but right now it hurts everyone to varying degrees."

smh pop out coached himself and blew game 6. always have your best players on the court n clutch situations, its that simple. manu needs to hang em up b4 we forget how great he was and if i was duncan i would think about it. 37 and had 1 of his best seasons and getting that close to his 5th ring...i dont think he will recover
ReplyDeleteDuncan can still play...Manu idk lol..he's been lacking recently..Duncan can still go another 2 seasons
DeleteUr right about Pop tho..he tried to hard..why take ur best rebounder out???!!!!!!!! That killed me...like when Hilbert was taken out in game 4 I believe
DeleteSpo put wade back in the game of game six for miller who was hot because if you gon go down, you need to go down with your best players on the floor. Idk what Pop was thinking.
