Greg Oden still interested in Heat

While speaking to the media briefly, Greg Oden's agent Mike Conley Sr. recently indicated that there's still mutual interest between Oden and the Miami. Despite winning the 2013 NBA Title, the Miami Heat still need size and may see Oden as a win/win situation.
"The Heat need some size, that's not a secret," Mike Conley, said. "Whether it's in a backup role or whatever, he could help them. I know they're interested in him and he's interested in them."

I Know it's probably gonna take a miracle, but if he's able to return healthy & stay healthy for an entire season (it's a long shot I know) the Heat will 3peat. Or maybe he only plays games on the nights they need someone to bang on the inside with Hibbert, Noah, Howard, Bynum, Gasol, & Lopez
ReplyDeleteAll those centers would probably re-injure him and bang him up even more...they can't roll the dice on him if they want to 3peat...
Deletenot unless somebody retires for mia they can only afford 1 guy. i would take my chances with birdman. could b fucked if this guy knees go out n the middle of the season
ReplyDeleteYea true. But birdman needs sum bulk on him 2. & he's more of a find the open gaps/ cut to the rim type of guy they need someone ego can score with their back to the basket
DeleteThats why i dont trust bosh he cant post for shit
DeleteThey can sign him for 1 year contract but very cheap and if his healthy for a year then they will sign him for a longer term
ReplyDeleteI don't think the knees hold up for a full season, even in a reserve role, damn shame too. The dude has legit skills, but comes with extreme physical limitations.
