Ginobili talks "home court"

Once the clocks strikes 12 and Sunday rolls in, we may very well know who'll face the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals which begins on June 6th. According to Spurs G Manu Ginobili, he may prefer that the Pacers defeat the Heat in 7 games due to the Heat having home court advantage in the NBA Finals should they advance.
‘It’s not that we pull (for Indiana),’ he said. ‘I think this time it’s different than before because the homecourt advantage. It is a big difference. It’s not definitive. It doesn’t mean that whoever has homecourt advantage is going to win. But we all prefer to have a Game 7 at home than on the road if we could get to that point. But besides that, different styles, I think we can match up with both.’ At the very least, Ginobili said he’s hoping the series goes the full duration – and then some. ‘Let them play,’ he said. ‘Five overtimes in Game 7. That would be great.’”

The Spurs will have a slight advantage due to the fact that they've had this time to rest up. Whichever eastern team wins will be tired, especially since it looks like it's going to game 7.
