Reports indicate that soon to be free agent G Monta Eliis has two teams on his wish list. The two teams are the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies. Ellis notified the Bucks recently that he would opt out of the final year of his contract thus making him an un-restricted free agent on July 1st.
thats kobe little bro right there! to much pressure n memphis for him to provide all the perimeter scoring. la would b perfect n a 6th man role. lakers know they need to lower kobe and nash's minutes. and it aint all about the money cause he can sign a 1 year deal and get paid the year after
ReplyDeleteWill he be happy to come off the bench though...
Deleteif he smart he would realize the 6th man is the best role for him as he gets older. a undersized 2 guard who's not very efficient but can create and make things happen. hell the only guy the lakers had to do that last year was kobe. dont c why he wont get 30 plus mins with old ass nash out there.
DeleteWell he knows he wont be starting as long as Kobe is there and yet still wants to go to the Lakers.
ReplyDeleteAmnesty world peace, slide Kobe over to the 3. Nash,Ellis,Bryant,Gasoline, (some other big man)
ReplyDeleteWho da hell is Gasoline? Nash is 40. He's done. Ellis is a volume shooter. Kobe ain't going for that.
Delete*Gasol
ReplyDeletePg kobe sg Ellis???
ReplyDeleteWouldn't fit in at the Lakers, Grizzlies wouldn't be a bad fit but Nuggets would be a better fit with Iguodala leaving
ReplyDeleteEllis at mem wit zbo n marc wud b a good fit they needed a 3rd scorer cuz ion think conley can do it every game but yet he cudnt do it wit da bucks but i stll say dis a good fit

Kobe & Ellis demand the ball way to much to be on the same team in my opinion. I'm intrigued about Ellis in Memphis but I would really like to see who new coach would be first though. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Ellis in Utah, between Mo hurt all the time Heyward stepping up his game. I would like to see a lineup of Jefferson, Millsap, Heyward, Ellis and MO. You could interject Ellis at PG but would need to up his average of 6 assists a game. I don't know if the money would work unless Utah unloaded Jefferson or Millsap. I don't know, just a interesting twist I thought. Bash away.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is ellis genuinely believes he should be starting in La over kobe lol... talk about a dummy
ReplyDeleteIggy to the grizzlies makes the most sense why anyone else
ReplyDeleteIf the lakers sign ellis....then kobe is out because they both won't play bench
ReplyDeletejust dont come to lakers.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't want to play in LA. He just wants the attention playing in LA brings. But if he's willing to play a role that doesn't disrupt what Kobe does, then I can get with it. He's better than any bench player LA has ever had and the bench had been a big problem in LA.
