The Los Angeles Clippers called the Boston Celtics today and offered a future 1st round pick for rights to coach Doc Rivers and sides are reportedly near an agreement.
Update: Reports now indicate that the Clippers and Celtics have agreed to a deal that will allow Rivers to leave Boston for Los Angeles.

He was obviously gonna try to benefit off Rivers departure, but I know it wasn't by choice. I would not have done it for a bullshit 2015 pick. I would have gave Doc a hand shake and said -- enjoy the booth...
