Being swept out of any NBA playoff series is bad enough but almost coming to blows with a teammate is worse. People in the know have reported that after a game 3 loss to the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks C Larry Sanders and G Monta Ellis had to be separated after a heated exchange. Sanders gave a speech to the team stating following which Ellis who may become a free agent took personal.
“We need to start playing together as a team and stop worrying about next year,” Sanders allegedly said. “We need to stop being selfish and start worrying about right now.”
Upset, Ellis approached Sanders and squared off verbally with Sanders before a teammate got between the two stars before anything physical could occur. The Bucks are at a crossroads considering that they chose to retain interim coach Jim Boylan and July 1st G Brandon Jennings will become a restricted free agent. There's also rumblings that the new Sacramento Kings ownership group would like to pursue Ellis should he opt out of his current deal.
I bet the Warriors are glad they got rid of him. Now the Bucks will be glad to get rid of him. The Kings would want him...
