Los Angeles Lakers G Steve Nash is out vs the Dallas Mavericks tonight with his strained right hip/hamstring.

Got mad respect for nash. Hes been a bad little dude his whole career but am i the only laker fan hoping he does the lakers a favor and just retire after this year? Im thinking either him or metta is gonna get the amnesty this summer. Metta already said hes willing to opt out and take less so we will see. But n nash case it might b better to hang it up now, he might b comin off the bench next year.

DeleteLol had to throw that in there but he's just a bad fit with Kobe. Fish is the type of pg that Kobe needs. Ready to pass, moves wo the ball and hits open 3s. Nash needs the ball to be Nash. Kobe needs the ball to be Kobe...we all know who's gonna win.

In the back of my head im still a die hard lakers fan but if they dont make the playoffs i hope it would b a real kick in the face to jim buss to wake up n notice a change needs to b made starting wit da coach ...hopefully for phil , a pg , and a hell of a sixth man - mr shady
ReplyDeleteNash is far from 'past it.' He nearly took a terrible Phoenix team filled with misfits to the playoffs last year, made marcin gortat into an all star calibre player and had the most assists in the season. Also Jim buss is dead so you quite clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteNash has adapted to a weird new role where he plays off the ball more than he ever has and kobe has become the de facto pg in l.a. l.a. is limited going forward with so little quickness or athleticism, but nash is a pro and at the least one of the best shooters in league history so a valuable asser, for another year at least. I mean what else would the lakers do, resign ramon sessions as a replacement?
ReplyDeleteLol i was thinking nate robinson, but i agree his shooting is still a asset but thats about it. His defense is a big problem and i dont think hes worthy or starter minutes anymore with that defense, maybe 20-25 min a night (6th man). Unless he never was healthy this year i think we got him just a year to late.
