The San Antonio Spurs have waived G/F Stephen Jackson who was in the last year of his deal. Reports indicate that the Spurs had grown tired of Jackson complaining about minutes and his role on the team. Jackson played in 55 games for the franchise this season averaging 6.2 point and 2.8 rebound per game. Jackson can be claimed off of waivers by another team but will be ineligible to participate in the playoffs.
