The Dallas Mavericks took a chance on G O.J. Mayo this past off season when they signed him to a relatively small two year deal. The deal had a player option for the second year which would have paid Mayo $4.2 million but this morning Mayo declined the option and will become a free agent. Mayo started the season strong but tapered off towards the end of the season causing Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle to grow frustrated.

ReplyDeletelike preach said hes a 6th man
ReplyDeleteHope he doesn't do the same thing to whatever team he goes 2 and become a free agent when the head coach tells him about himself.
ReplyDeletecome back home to la and hold it down for kobe until he get back. aint gonna get paid much tho, but he might have fucked that up anyway with his performance the last half of the season
ReplyDeleteCan't see him getting more than his last contract. Never know which player is gonna show up and for how long. Seems like he wants to be the man but when he's not, he disappears. With Dirk Mayo and wo Dirk Mayo are completely different players.
