There's no doubt that Kevin Durant is next in line to dominate the NBA but the superstar forward would like that reign to begin by winning an NBA title this season. Durant is tired with being labeled as second best and shared his thoughts with Sports Illustrated on why it bothers him.
“I’ve been second my whole life,” KD said. “I was the second best player in high school. I was the second pick in the draft. I’ve been second in the MVP voting three times. I came in second in the Finals. I’m tired of being second. I’m not going to settle for that. I’m done with it.”
“I’m not taking it easy on [LeBron]. Don’t you know I’m trying to destroy the guy every time I go on the court?”

Much respect for KD I like his mentality and how he answered that question but lebron is just on another level
ReplyDeleteHe's trying the mental approach on Lebron now since the be friends approach ain't working. Losing changes your mindset when you're a competitor so good look KD.
ReplyDeleteI don't really see him destroying lebron everytime they play..this guy flukes whenever he's guarded by lebron..

ReplyDeleteThe last time these two played KD didn't even wanna touch the ball with Lebron on him.
ReplyDeleteIf he keeps taking the backseat to Westbrook he gonna stay #2
