Byron Scott talks being fired by Cavaliers

After 3 losing seasons the Cleveland Cavaliers fired Byron Scott Thursday and though he wasn't available for comment at the time, he released the following statement through the team.  

"I am certainly proud of the progress that many of our players have made and greatly appreciate the dedication of my coaches and our team in our efforts to attain the success we all desired,''

During a phone interview with the Plain Dealer yesterday, Scott elaborated a bit on exactly how he felt.

"I'm disappointed, more than anything,'' Scott said. "I don't think I got a fair shake....I'll land on my feet,''
