With his season ending on March 25th due to an torn right hamstring, Magic G Arron Afflalo can only focus on next season. Recently the 6 year pro spoke to the media about returning from his injury.
"Yeah, it's different. The last time I had to sit out for an extensive time-period, the rehab process was more looking forward to the playoffs or getting back, so it's been kind of a different feeling, just the pace I've been going," he said. "My whole mind-set has been geared toward next year. I've never had to think that way during the season."

"I could imagine if it was in mid-season or a certain circumstance in which we were going to make the playoffs I probably would be taking it a lot harder," he said. "But considering the fact that we don't have a chance to make the playoffs and there was only two to three weeks left, it was just a little extended time for me to think about playing for next season."
