Q: What do you miss most about Brazil when you're in the U.S. playing basketball?

A: I miss my family, friends, a little bit of my coach. And that's it.

Q: Have you ever thought about cutting your hair?

A: Yes. But at the same time I know I'm not going to do it. I just think about cutting my hair when it's too hot or when I have to go somewhere that I have to wash it and style it. That's when I think about cutting it. But then I think about it and I know I can't do it right now because it's my, how you say, trademark.

Q: Have you had to invest in a lot more suits in the last few years because you've been injured so much and have to wear street clothes on the bench?

A: Since I've been hurt? Actually, no. I just don't really like to wear it. If I'm playing, I don't need to. I can wear it sometimes, but now I have to wear it. But actually I had enough, I haven't had to buy any more.

Q: How often do you see Zydrunas Ilgauskas these days? You guys were so close when you played together.

A: Probably every day that we have practice. He's always at the facility, he's working out and I see him there when I get to practice.

Q: What do you miss about having him on the team with you?

A: Actually, I don't miss him. (laughs) You know, having him as a teammate was great to me. He's my mentor. I miss that. Right now, I'm in a situation where I'm not sure I really need him anymore. I always talk to him, even about the games and what to do and stuff like that.
