Paul George talks All-Star Experience

No player this season has taken control of their franchise after being in the shadows like Paul George. One could see for years that the skill set was there but the assertiveness was not while Danny Granger was still the face of the franchise. George put his entire skill set on display last evening in the 2013 NBA All-Star Game and finished with 17 points. After the contest, George shared his thoughts on being an All-Star for the first time.
“I knew if I came out not playing real aggressive, I was going to kind of get lost in the crowd,” George said. “For this to be my first one, I’m very proud of it. We didn’t get the win, but being around guys like KG, that really taught me experience....The highlight was probably when coach Spo put me back in the game in the last three minutes....I was able to knock those two shots.”
